What is a WPD file?

The WPD file extension designates a text document created by Corel WordPerfect, a word processing application originally developed by Satellite Software International in 1979. Unlike the paragraph-based hierarchy of Microsoft Word, WPD files utilize a streaming architecture where formatting codes are embedded directly within the text stream, allowing for precise absolute positioning. How to open a WPD file
