The ET file extension denotes a spreadsheet created by WPS Office (formerly Kingsoft Office), specifically within the WPS Spreadsheets application. It serves as the proprietary binary or XML-based container for the suite, functionally analogous to Microsoft's XLS format. The file encapsulates cell data, complex formulas, chart objects, and layout formatting. ET files are natively supported by the WPS Office suite, available on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android. The XLTM file is a macro-enabled template format introduced with Microsoft Office 2007, based on the Office Open XML (OOXML) architecture.
